Description

A classic Italian baked pasta dish with layers of pasta, sauce, and cheese.


Ingrédients

  • 300g pasta
  • 500g ground beef
  • 400g marinara sauce
  • 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 100g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  4. Add ground beef, cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in the marinara sauce, simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the pasta, half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining pasta, sauce, and mozzarella.
  8. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with mushrooms or lentils.
  • You can add vegetables like spinach or zucchini in the layers.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
