  • Pepper – 1 tsp

  • Chicken broth – 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Mix softened butter, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the turkey.
  4. Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
  5. Add chopped vegetables around the turkey.
  6. Pour chicken broth into the pan.
  7. Cover the turkey with foil and roast for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  8. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
  9. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
