- 4 large egg whites
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 2 cups mixed fresh fruit (strawberries, kiwi, blueberries)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add granulated sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in vinegar and cornstarch.
- Spoon the meringue onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a circle.
- Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let it cool completely.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream over the cooled meringue.
- Top with fresh fruit.
Notes
- Serve immediately after topping with fruit.
- Store leftover meringue in an airtight container.
