Description
Peanut blossom cookies are soft and chewy cookies topped with a chocolate kiss.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mix well.
- Roll dough into balls, then roll in granulated sugar.
- Place on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and press a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie.
- Return to oven for 2 minutes.
- Cool on wire racks.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- You can substitute crunchy peanut butter for a different texture.
- Chill the dough for easier handling.
