Ingrédients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • granulated sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mix until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mix well.
  6. Roll dough into balls, then roll in granulated sugar.
  7. Place on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and press a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie.
  9. Return to oven for 2 minutes.
  10. Cool on wire racks.

  • Store cookies in an airtight container.
  • You can substitute crunchy peanut butter for a different texture.
  • Chill the dough for easier handling.
