- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cream)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Add chopped pecans and stir until combined.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until the filling is set.
- Let the pie cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the cooled pie.
- Garnish with extra pecans if desired.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Allow the pie to cool for at least two hours before serving.
