Description

Pecan tassies are mini pecan pies baked in a pastry shell.


Ingrédients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and sugar until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a mini muffin tin.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  5. Stir in chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the pecan mixture into each pastry shell.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until set.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Can be served warm or at room temperature.
  • Use fresh pecans for the best flavor.
