Description
Pecan tassies are mini pecan pies baked in a pastry shell.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and sugar until combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a mini muffin tin.
- In another bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Stir in chopped pecans.
- Pour the pecan mixture into each pastry shell.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until set.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be served warm or at room temperature.
- Use fresh pecans for the best flavor.
