- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, and olive oil.
- Rub the mixture all over the prime rib.
- Place the roast bone-side down in a roasting pan.
- Roast for 20 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 325°F (165°C).
- Continue roasting until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
