- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour and butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Add ice water and mix until dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and fit it into a pie dish.
- In another bowl, mix sugar, pumpkin puree, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- Let the pie cool before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh pumpkin for better flavor.
- Serve with whipped cream for a tasty treat.
