Description
A hearty dish of pork and sauerkraut cooked in a crockpot.

- 2 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 jar (32 ounces) sauerkraut
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 apples, sliced
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Place the pork shoulder in the crockpot.
- Add the sauerkraut, onion, apples, caraway seeds, and black pepper.
- Pour chicken broth over the mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pork is tender.
- Shred the pork and mix with the sauerkraut before serving.
Notes
- Serve with crusty bread.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
