Description
A simple and delicious pork and sauerkraut dish made in a crockpot.
Ingrédients

- 2 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 jar sauerkraut (32 ounces)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 apples, sliced
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the pork shoulder in the crockpot.
- Add the sauerkraut, onion, and apples on top of the pork.
- Sprinkle caraway seeds over the mixture.
- Pour chicken broth into the crockpot.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or bread.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
