A delicious prime rib roast recipe for a perfect dinner.

- 1 prime rib roast (5–7 pounds)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
- Rub the mixture all over the prime rib roast.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan, bone side down.
- Roast for 20 minutes at 450°F, then reduce the temperature to 325°F (163°C).
- Cook for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium rare.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
