Description
A traditional Puerto Rican turkey recipe for Thanksgiving.
Ingrédients

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix garlic, oregano, cumin, paprika, olive oil, soy sauce, orange juice, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the turkey, including under the skin.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Cover with foil and roast for 3 hours.
- Remove foil and roast for an additional hour until golden brown.
- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
- Brining the turkey overnight can enhance juiciness.
- Serve with traditional Puerto Rican sides.
