- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, heavy cream, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Add cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt to the mixture and stir well.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes.
- Check the pie for doneness by inserting a knife; it should come out clean.
- Let the pie cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can be made a day ahead.
