Description

A creamy and spicy queso blanco dip made with chorizo.


Ingrédients

  • 4 oz chorizo sausage
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin

Instructions

  1. Cook chorizo in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add onions and jalapeño to the skillet. Sauté until soft.
  3. Reduce heat and stir in queso blanco and milk.
  4. Mix until the cheese is melted and smooth.
  5. Add diced tomatoes, garlic powder, and cumin. Stir well.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less jalapeño.
  • Use a double boiler for smoother melting of cheese.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave.
