  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  3. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, mix oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vanilla, and vinegar.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  6. Pour batter into cupcake liners, filling them halfway.
  7. Bake for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before frosting.
