Description
A simple rib roast recipe for cooking a bone-in roast in the oven.
Ingrédients

- 1 bone-in rib roast (5–7 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Combine olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme in a bowl.
- Rub the mixture all over the rib roast.
- Place the roast bone-side down in a roasting pan.
- Roast in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Reduce the temperature to 325°F (163°C) and continue cooking for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer for accurate cooking.
- Adjust cooking time based on desired doneness.
- Let the roast rest for better juiciness.
