Ahi tuna dish inspired by Ruth’s Chris steakhouse.


Ingrédients

  • 2 Ahi tuna steaks (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.
  3. Marinate the tuna in the mixture for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Sear the tuna for 1-2 minutes on each side for rare.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds on both sides while cooking.
  7. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
  8. Slice and serve with your choice of sides.
