Description
Salisbury steak with mushroom gravy is a classic comfort food dish featuring seasoned ground beef patties served with a rich mushroom gravy.
Ingrédients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until soft.
- Sprinkle flour over mushrooms and stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually add beef broth and milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Return patties to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
- Feel free to add garlic or herbs for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
