Description
Salisbury steak with mushroom gravy is a hearty dish made with seasoned ground beef, shaped into patties and served with a rich mushroom sauce.
Ingrédients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Cook patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over mushrooms and stir for 1 minute.
- Add beef broth and stir until thickened.
- Return patties to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
- Can use ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
