  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  3. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk.
  7. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  8. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the batter.
  10. Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the caramel sauce.
  11. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
