Description
A simple and hearty sausage dish made in a crockpot.
Ingrédients

- 1 pound of sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 bell peppers, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can of diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to the crockpot.
- Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Notes
- Serve with bread or over rice.
- You can add other vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms.
