Savory hand pies filled with a mix of vegetables and spices.


Ingrédients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, chilled and diced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and salt.
  3. Add butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in water until dough forms.
  5. Roll out dough and cut into circles.
  6. In a pan, sauté onion and vegetables until tender.
  7. Place filling on half of each circle.
  8. Fold dough over and seal edges.
  9. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.

  • Can add cheese for extra flavor.
