Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Gradually mix in the flour and salt until combined.
- Form the dough into a log shape and wrap in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Slice the log into rounds and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- For variation, add vanilla or almond extract.
