Description
A flavorful shrimp scampi pasta bake that combines shrimp, pasta, and a garlic butter sauce, baked to perfection.

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 ounces pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
- Add cooked pasta and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use large shrimp for better texture.
- Adjust the spice level with more or less red pepper flakes.
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
