Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

  4. Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.

  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  11. Once cooled, cover with fondant and decorate as desired.
  12. Sprinkle edible glitter for a festive touch.
