Ingrédients

  • 3 pounds brisket
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Brown the brisket on all sides.
  3. Place sliced onions in the slow cooker.
  4. Add balsamic vinegar, beef broth, brown sugar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place the brisket on top of the onion mixture.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.
  7. Remove brisket and let rest before slicing.
  8. Serve with gravy over the sliced brisket.
