- 3 pounds brisket
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Brown the brisket on all sides.
- Place sliced onions in the slow cooker.
- Add balsamic vinegar, beef broth, brown sugar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place the brisket on top of the onion mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.
- Remove brisket and let rest before slicing.
- Serve with gravy over the sliced brisket.

- Can use a different cut of beef if desired.
