Ingrédients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, remove chicken and set aside.
  6. Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and add to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
  7. Return chicken to the slow cooker and coat with sauce.
  8. Serve hot.

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
  • Serve with rice or vegetables.
  • Can use chicken thighs for more flavor.
