Description
A sweet and savory slow cooker chicken dish with garlic and brown sugar.
Ingrédients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, black pepper, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove chicken and set aside.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and add to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- Return chicken to the slow cooker and coat with sauce.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Serve with rice or vegetables.
- Can use chicken thighs for more flavor.
