- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Brown the chicken on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet, sauté until soft.
- Stir in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet and cover, cooking for 20 minutes.
- Remove chicken again and stir in heavy cream.
- Return chicken to the skillet, simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve over cooked rice.
Notes
- Use bone-in, skin-on chicken for more flavor.
- Adjust seasoning as needed.
- For a spicier dish, add cayenne pepper.
