Description

Soft steamed beef buns are fluffy buns filled with savory ground beef and spices.


Ingrédients

  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

Instructions

  1. Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. In a pan, cook ground beef with green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger.
  5. Divide the risen dough into small balls.
  6. Flatten each ball and place a spoonful of beef mixture in the center.
  7. Seal the buns and place them on parchment paper.
  8. Steam the buns for 15-20 minutes.

  • Ensure the water is warm, not hot.
  • You can add more spices to the beef mixture for extra flavor.
