Soft steamed beef buns are fluffy buns filled with savory ground beef and spices.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
Instructions
- Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- In a pan, cook ground beef with green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger.
- Divide the risen dough into small balls.
- Flatten each ball and place a spoonful of beef mixture in the center.
- Seal the buns and place them on parchment paper.
- Steam the buns for 15-20 minutes.
Notes
- Ensure the water is warm, not hot.
- You can add more spices to the beef mixture for extra flavor.
- Store leftover buns in the refrigerator.
