Ingrédients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups hot water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix brown sugar and cocoa powder. Sprinkle this mixture over the batter.
- Pour hot water over the entire dish without stirring.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with ice cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Reheat in the microwave for best results.
