  • 1 cup of diced onions
  • 1 cup of diced bell peppers
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in collard greens, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. In a large bowl, combine cornbread crumbs and cheese.
  7. Add the collard greens mixture to the cornbread mixture and mix well.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
