Ingrédients

- 2 cups of collard greens
- 1 cup of cornbread crumbs
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of diced onions
- 1 cup of diced bell peppers
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
- Stir in collard greens, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- In a large bowl, combine cornbread crumbs and cheese.
- Add the collard greens mixture to the cornbread mixture and mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh collard greens for the best flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Feel free to add bacon for extra flavor.
