Ingrédients

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light.
  4. Add eggs, sour cream, lemon juice, vanilla, and lemon zest. Mix well.
  5. Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice. Drizzle over the loaf once cooled.
