Description
A moist and tangy lemon loaf inspired by Starbucks.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light.
- Add eggs, sour cream, lemon juice, vanilla, and lemon zest. Mix well.
- Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice. Drizzle over the loaf once cooled.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Best served fresh but can be stored for up to 3 days.
- Can add poppy seeds for extra texture.
