A delicious strawberry pop tart pie that combines the flavors of fresh strawberries and a buttery crust.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup ice water
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add chilled butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in ice water until dough forms.
- Roll out half the dough and place it in a pie pan.
- Spread strawberry jam over the crust.
- Layer sliced strawberries on top of the jam.
- Roll out the remaining dough and cover the pie.
- Seal edges and cut slits in the top crust.
- Brush with beaten egg and milk.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Let cool before serving.
