Description
A delicious strawberry rose tart filled with custard cream.
Ingrédients

- 1 pre-made tart shell
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- Fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and milk over medium heat.
- In a bowl, whisk together sugar, egg yolks, and cornstarch.
- Gradually add the hot cream mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
- Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and rose water.
- Pour the custard into the tart shell.
- Top with sliced strawberries.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Garnish with fresh mint before serving.
