  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and milk over medium heat.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together sugar, egg yolks, and cornstarch.
  4. Gradually add the hot cream mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  5. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and rose water.
  7. Pour the custard into the tart shell.
  8. Top with sliced strawberries.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh mint before serving.
