Description

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Combine the rice and water in a pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes.
  4. Mix sugar and rice vinegar in a small bowl. Stir into the cooked rice.
  5. Spread the rice on a bamboo sushi mat.
  6. Layer whipped cream, strawberries, and crumbled cake on top of the rice.
  7. Roll the sushi tightly using the mat.
  8. Slice the roll into pieces and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
