A creamy and sweet macaroni salad inspired by Amish recipes.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 cup grated carrots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
- In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
- Add the cooled macaroni to the bowl.
- Stir in celery, bell pepper, onion, and carrots.
- Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For best flavor, let the salad chill overnight.
- You can add hard-boiled eggs for extra protein.
- Adjust sugar to taste for your preference.
