  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into cubes.
  3. Boil the sweet potatoes in water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot.
  5. Add brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the sweet potatoes.
  6. Mash the mixture until smooth.
  7. Spread the sweet potato mixture into a baking dish.
  8. Top with mini marshmallows.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden brown.

  • You can use orange juice for added flavor.
