Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pierce sweet potatoes with a fork and bake for 45 minutes.
  3. Let cool, then peel and mash in a bowl.
  4. Add brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish and top with marshmallows if desired.
  6. Bake for an additional 20 minutes until heated through and marshmallows are golden.
