Description

Taco bake casserole is a hearty dish combining layers of taco ingredients and cheese.


Ingrédients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups tortilla chips, crushed
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add taco seasoning, black beans, corn, and salsa to the skillet. Stir well.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the crushed tortilla chips.
  5. Add half of the beef mixture on top of the chips.
  6. Sprinkle with one cup of cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining chips, beef mixture, and cheese.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  9. Top with sour cream and green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add jalapeños for extra heat.
  • You can use ground turkey or chicken as a substitute for beef.
  • This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
