Description
Texas Roadhouse rolls served with honey cinnamon butter.
Ingrédients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Melt butter and allow it to cool slightly. Add to the yeast mixture.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 pieces. Shape into rolls.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- For the butter, mix softened butter, honey, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Serve rolls warm with honey cinnamon butter.
Notes
- For softer rolls, cover with a cloth while rising.
- Brush rolls with melted butter right after baking for extra flavor.
- You can freeze the rolls before baking for later use.
