Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract; mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  7. Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let cookies cool completely.
  10. For buttercream, beat butter until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  11. Decorate cookies with buttercream as desired.
