  • 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup of green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the diced potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  4. Add the melted butter, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.
  5. Stir in half of the cheddar cheese and green onions.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
