A traditional Thanksgiving dinner featuring turkey, stuffing, and all the classic sides.

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 pounds)
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups green beans
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 pumpkin pie
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and rinsing it under cold water.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing mix and secure the openings.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and brush with melted butter.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- Prepare mashed potatoes by boiling potatoes until tender and mashing with butter and milk.
- Steam green beans until tender.
- Serve turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce.
- Finish the meal with pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the turkey reaches 165°F (75°C).
