  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually add flour and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Shape each piece into a ball and place in a greased baking pan.
  8. Cover and let rolls rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Brush with melted butter before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter roll, increase sugar to 1/3 cup.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • You can freeze the rolls after baking.
