  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 2 cups green bean casserole
  • 1 pumpkin pie

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the stuffing by melting butter in a skillet. Add onion and celery, cook until soft.
  3. Mix in bread crumbs, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the turkey with the mixture and place it in a roasting pan.
  5. Pour chicken broth over the turkey.
  6. Cover with foil and roast for 2-3 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
  8. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
  9. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
  10. Serve with cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie.
