Description

  • 2 cups stuffing mix
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 2 cups green bean casserole
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the stuffing by sautéing onion and celery in butter.
  3. Add the stuffing mix, chicken broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
  6. Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, removing the foil for the last 30 minutes.
  7. Prepare mashed potatoes and green bean casserole while the turkey cooks.
  8. Once cooked, let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
