A flavorful roasted duck recipe perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingrédients

- 1 whole duck (4–5 pounds)
- 2 oranges, quartered
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove the giblets from the duck and pat it dry.
- Season the duck inside and out with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Stuff the cavity with orange quarters and garlic.
- Place the duck breast-side up on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.
- Pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
- Roast the duck for about 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the duck rest for 15 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite sides.
- Leftovers can be used in salads or sandwiches.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
