- 1 can of fruit pie filling (e.g., cherry, apple) – 21 oz
- 1 box of yellow cake mix – 15.25 oz
- 1 cup of unsalted butter – melted
- 1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the fruit pie filling evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the fruit layer.
- Pour the melted butter evenly on top of the cake mix.
- Add chopped nuts if using.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool before serving.
