A classic Thanksgiving feast featuring turkey, stuffing, and seasonal sides.

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 tsp sage
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups cranberry sauce
- 1 cup green bean casserole
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare stuffing by melting butter in a pan and sautéing onion and celery.
- Add stuffing mix, chicken broth, sage, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing mix.
- Place turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast turkey for about 3 to 4 hours, removing the foil for the last hour.
- Prepare mashed potatoes and heat cranberry sauce.
- Serve turkey with sides of mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Adjust cooking time based on turkey weight.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure turkey reaches 165°F (75°C).
