- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Trim the ends of the green beans.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the green beans.
- Blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes until bright green.
- Drain and transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add green beans and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Add sliced almonds, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Serve warm.
